When Are Tryouts?
Tryouts are held once a year, in the fall, during the first week and second week of classes. Tryout signups for the 2024/2025 school year are linked below.

Emails regarding tryout times will be sent out the weekend before school. Aim to keep at least 2 afternoons/evenings the first two weeks of school open.
What is the format?
Early rounds will take the format of a 4 game no-ad set (9 point tiebreaker at 3-3, first to 5 points, sudden death). Later rounds, however, will be full sets. Players should expect to play up to 4 sets per day, with callbacks being issued quickly after each day's matches conclude. The majority of prospective players will only be required to attend 1-2 of the 5 tryout dates, although additional days may be necessary if the board feels a prospect needs to play additional matches to make a fair decision.
I am afraid I can't make the tryout dates, but I still really want to try out for the team. What should I do?
If you are unable to make any of the tryout dates, including callback dates, we may perform an individual tryout. This is only done if the player is able to give a valid excuse and demonstrate their ability through USTA results/rankings and UTR ratings. Unless the player shows potential to add to the first team in national competition, there will not be a special tryout granted.
